Is the Shaw waterproof?

Yes. The Shaw uses a functional waterproof shell fabric that can withstand a 10,000 mm (10K) water column before being penetrated. Its seams are sealed with adhesive waterproof tape to help prevent water from entering through the stitching. The fabric is also finished with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, which changes the surface tension so water forms droplets that roll off rather than being absorbed.

How warm is the Shaw?

The Shaw is insulated with 100% Canadian Origin White Duck Down, one of nature's best insulators. Down offers better warmth than synthetic insulation at the same weight, and Nobis down has a fill power of 650 for dependable warmth without unnecessary bulk. The Shaw is designed for conditions down to approximately -15°C.

What are the benefits of the Shaw's 3L Micro Denier fabric?

The Shaw's 3L Micro Denier shell provides a lightweight, soft, and luxurious hand feel. The Bluesign® approved fabric incorporates GRS-certified recycled polyester.
