I previously wore the Merideth jacket several years ago, and I'm just as happy wearing the Colette as I did with the Merideth! The Colette is extremely warm, and blocks all wind from coming into your jacket. I had the chance to wear it on extremely windy weather and found it to be very good at mitigating wind. I do prefer the material on the Colette over the Merideth as it feels more stretchy and flexible. However, I notice it attracts more dust and dirt (which can easily be wiped off) compared to the material on the Merideth. The only setback I have with this jacket is that is the proportions and length is a little too long for me considering I'm only 5'1. The jacket hits just below the knee, which is not an issue, but the top of the jacket when fully zipped up is a little long. Overall, I would highly recommend this jacket.
